Packing & Storage Tips

Careful packing and being aware of a few precautions can go a long way toward preventing damage and making your moving experience a positive one.

  • Use same-size boxes to make stacking easier
  • Don’t put items that could be damaged by moisture in plastic bags
  • Fill each box completely and use paper or bubble wrap to fill holes
  • Don’t make your boxes to heavy to actually move
  • Use different kinds of boxes for different things, like books, clothing and glassware
  • Wrap dishes individually in bubble wrap
  • Wrap framed art in bubble wrap
  • Store framed artwork and mirrors vertically
  • Label boxes clearly and mark certain ones as “fragile”
  • Take apart furniture items when applicable and remove lampshades to minimize damage
  • Cover furniture with sheets or blankets for extra protection
  • Place heavy items on the bottom and lighter items on top
  • Place less essential items in the back of your unit
  • Leave room between boxes and items so that you can walk through

Large Space (10×20, 10×25, 10×30 | 200 – 300 sq. ft.)
If you have an entire household’s worth of items to store, a large storage unit is the perfect fit. These storage units are ideal for storing your belongings during deployment, in between home closings, or during a full home renovation.

Boat/RV Storage (10×40 and larger | 400 sq. ft.+)
Bigger items need bigger spaces. We’ve got room for nearly any size boat, watercraft, RV, motorhome, camper van. If you can park it, we can store it.
